MBA - Aviation Management

Description:
The MBA (Aviation Management) aims to integrate the skills required to analyse and implement creative solutions, enhance leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, and to develop managers able to achieve results in the global air transport and aerospace industries.
Requirements:
     English- 6.5 IELTS; 580 TOEFL or RMIT's EAP English Pathway Programme
     Academic- Sound achievement in undergraduate degree or higher


Bachelor of Applied Science - Aviation
Institution: RMIT University (Melbourne)
Start Dates: Feb / Jul
Term: 3 years
Cost: A$21600 per year(2007 Tuition Fee)
Description:
The Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation) degree program is designed to prepare graduates for employment in a range of operational management and planning roles. These include airport landside operations, airport airside operations, airport planning, airline maintenance management and supervision, and career path options for experienced commercial pilots transitioning to airline operations management. The program covers the specifics of planning and management relevant to the aviation industry context, taking account of risk, human factors, the industry environment, and other key themes. Students also develop an understanding of aircraft and aviation systems.
Requirements:
     English- 6.5 IELTS; 580 TOEFL or RMIT's EAP English Pathway Programme
     Academic- Sound achievement in Australian high school equivalency or higher


Master of Aviation Management
Institution: Griffith University (Brisbane)
Start Dates: Feb
Term: 1 year
Cost: A$11160 (2007 Tuition Fee)
Description:
This program is designed to provide middle level managers in the Aviation industry with the appropriate level of education to provide both the company in which they are employed and themselves with a competitive advantage over their competitors in the industry. The program is specifically designed to fill a need in both Australian and Asian Airlines but could be undertaken be private students or other sectors of the aviation industry such as Airport management and regulatory authorities.
Requirements:

     Academic- Sound achievement in undergraduate degree or higher
